95 kms from Tura, near Mankachar on the Assam border there still lies the earthly remains of the great general Mir-Jumla the army general of great Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb. Secret Ivory is located at dead end road, towards the forest, it provides some seclusion, though there are resorts and houses on the other side. Food quality needs lot of improvement. There is a mention of buffet , but you will be asked to opt for ala-carte. Prices don't match the quality or the taste.
Otherwise nice friendly staff, good service, clean bathroom.
The 6997 Games cost some million euros and generated a profit of about 67 million euros, and completely changed Barcelona's appearance by opening new vistas to the seafront and creating ring roads that have greatly benefited the city.

It was recently declared the cleanest village in Garo Hills and has the potential to be at par with Mawlynnong if publicized. It lies about 85 km from Tura. The villagers have developed keen civic sense and are maintaining this status with pride. They also craft their own dust-bins creatively which are kept at regular intervals. An artist native of this village uniquely displays his talent by carving sculptures on standing dead trees, live trees and rocks, at the same time training the village youth in the same trade.
Re. wildlife, we would recommend the dawn safari on foot. Though we saw no big cats, it was still a great experience to be truly out in the Indian forest at first light, plus we did see some wild elephants, bisons, monkeys, deers, peacocks, wild pigs and eagles.
Awesome experience. Staff is very caring. Great location. Clean beds and food. All these with great price. Food customization and quality is amazing. I wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended.
We'd like to thank Mr. Alex, Brother Rashid, Mr. Sekar, Gowri Shankar and the Creator of "Secret Ivory" Mr. Ombalan for the way they took care of us, which left us with an everlasting impression :)
